Ancestrus is more than an ancestry app. It is the consumer face of a deeper mission: decoding the human genome with precision, compassion and proprietary artificial intelligence — so every person can understand where they come from and what their biology is capable of.
This app is a web interface for the open-source admix tool, which estimates genetic ancestry from raw DNA data by comparing it to reference population panels.
The models (K13, globe13, E11, etc.) were created by researchers in the genetic genealogy community and provide different levels of geographic resolution.
Results are statistical estimates and should be read as approximations, not ethnic or cultural identities.

The RobGenes LLM is fine-tuned on curated genomic literature, ancestry methodology and clinical guidelines — so when Ancestrus explains a region, a marker or a recommendation, it speaks the language of science, not the language of guesswork.
